MainStreaming, an intelligent media delivery company that develops innovative edge network solutions to empower media providers, enterprises and gaming companies to deliver live video content, has been shortlisted for the best network delivery technology category at CSI Awards 2022.

In a year when CSI Awards, which celebrates excellence in the broadcast, video, OTT and IoT sectors, has registered a higher number of entries, MainStreaming’s intelligent Media Delivery Platform (iMDP) stood out as the first platform to guarantee full governance over the video delivery process. Using AI technology and quality of experience (QoE) metrics to predict network congestion, iMDP’s flexible, scalable solution is an industry-leading innovation based on a deep understanding of video packet behaviour across edge networks.

It is an honour to be shortlisted for CSI Awards, which are among the most prestigious and competitive technology awards in our industry. This is a testament to the brilliant work the team at MainStreaming is doing and shows our proven track record of delivering ultra-low latency and buffer-free live streaming with exceptional quality of experience,” said Antonio G. Corrado, founder and CEO of MainStreaming.

The iMDP, which constitutes a single integrated platform based on proprietary AI-powered technology, has been used by many broadcasters, OTT providers and Telcos, along with a number of gaming and enterprise companies to deliver content to tens of millions of people around the globe.

MainStreaming has been used as a delivery partner by a wide range of sports broadcasts on both sides of the Atlantic, as they recognise the solution’s ability to help them deliver exceptional content to audiences of any size. A recent partnership has helped Europe’s first streaming service devoted purely to sport to deliver a key Italian football fixture to an audience of over 2.3 million viewers, whilst another has supported the launch of an OTT platform dedicated to tennis.

The 20th annual CSI Awards winners will be revealed at an in-person ceremony in Amsterdam on 9th September 2022. The ceremony will take place during IBC, the world’s leading content and technology event that draws together the global media, entertainment and technology industry and welcomes exhibitors, speakers and visitors from more than 170 nations.
