In an industry where video consumption keeps growing and streaming quality is shaping how billions experience sports, entertainment, and global communication, 2025 has offered a clear signal: video delivery is evolving, and collaboration is now essential.
For MainStreaming, this year has been proof that our direction - placing broadcasters and ISPs side-by-side at the center of the delivery chain - is not only visionary but effective. From strategic partnerships and global deployments to recognition by analysts and measurable environmental impact, 2025 has marked a tipping point in our growth and in the media ecosystem at large.
A New Era of Cooperation within the Industry
Over the past months, we have insisted on a simple concept: broadcasters, telcos, and technology providers perform better when they work together, not separately.
This principle matured into concrete results.
MainStreaming signed a major strategic contract with British Telecom and further strengthened the partnership with Deutsche Telekom, confirming the value of our “Better Together” approach. These agreements go beyond commercial relationships; they introduce a new model of collaboration where ISPs become active participants in the ecosystem, benefiting from monetization opportunities and more optimized networks, while broadcasters gain the performance they need to deliver flawless experiences.
From Global Stadiums to Industry Stages
This has also been a year of accelerated internationalization. Our teams worked worldwide to support the delivery of complex, high-visibility, live events. We supported DAZN for the smooth delivery of the FIFA Club World Cup™, expanding their Private Edge Network with new Points-of-Presence to ensure performance on a global level.
But impact goes beyond technology in production. We attended major industry events across Europe, MENA and APAC, not only as exhibitors or speakers, but as collaborators influencing how content delivery evolves. A significant step forward was also our membership with AVIA (Asia Video Industry Association), reinforcing our commitment to shaping global standards and fostering open dialogue in the streaming industry.
Recognition from Analysts and the Industry
Validation matters and this year, MainStreaming was recognized twice by Gartner®, being included in both the 2025 Market Guide for Edge Computing and the 2025 Market Guide for Edge Distribution Platforms. We believe these mentions highlight the uniqueness of our approach: an edge architecture purpose-built for media.
To that recognition, the industry added even more voices. The CSI Magazine Awards named MainStreaming the winner in the “Best Edge/Video Deployment” category, and we were also officially recognized as the winner in the “Edge Tech Champion” category for IMPACT at The Fast Mode Awards 2025. Both acknowledgements stand as a testament to our hard work, innovation, and the trust our customers place in us, both in the broadcaster and in the telco space.
Sustainability That Goes Beyond Headlines
2025 also demonstrated that sustainability in streaming is not a marketing statement, but something measurable. MainStreaming’s commitment is to deliver greener performance through energy-efficient infrastructure and optimized software that reduces power consumption without compromising quality.
In addition, thanks to our platform’s lower energy consumption, we compensate for the carbon emissions of all our streaming customers. After supporting climate action since 2022, this year we achieved a total 603 tonnes of CO₂ reduced, removed, or avoided. A sustainable streaming ecosystem is not just possible, but it is already happening.
Looking Ahead
The year closing behind us clarified the direction of the media industry: performance, trust, cooperation, and sustainability are not optional anymore. They are required to support a world where live streaming connects global audiences, where new business models depend on QoE, and where scale must not conflict with environmental responsibility.
MainStreaming enters 2026 with a stronger network of partners, with a global footprint that keeps expanding, and with a vision that has moved from aspiration to adoption.
To our customers, partners, and teams: thank you for believing in us. Together, we are not just streaming, we are shaping the future of how the world experiences video.
